RABA KISTNER INFRASTRUCTURE ANNOUNCES THAT DAVID BUDWORTH HAS REJOINED THE FIRM AS RECORDS MANAGER II FOR THE $4 BILLION TAPAN ZEE PROJECT IN TARRYTOWN, NEW YORK (9/16/2013)

NewYork Raba Kistner Infrastructure, Inc. has announced that David Budworth, previous Records Manager for the $1.7 Billion I-15 CORE project in Utah, has returned to the firm to serve as Records Manager II for the $4 Billion TappanZeeProject in their Tarrytown, New York office. Mr. Budworth is responsible for the management of records produced during execution of all services on the Tappan Zee project, and to support the project quality program throughimplementation and maintenance of the EDMS (Electronic Document Management System).

In his position on the 1-15 CORE Project, which rebuilt I-15 through Utah County, Utah, Mr. Budworth was responsible for all design build submittal documents as well as construction inspection and testing records on the project. Completed in fall of 2012, the project included a complete reconstruct of 26 miles of the existing 1-15 interstate; adding two lanes in each direction using concrete pavement (PCCP), rebuilding and reconfiguring 10 interchanges and replacing 55 bridges, built using multiple designs and methods of construction.

Mr. Budworth spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He has over 30 years’ experience in Records and Documentation Management, including the past 13 years within the Construction industry. Since retiring from active duty, Mr. Budworth has been involved in numerous construction projects, including vertical, heavy civil and transportation. He has utilized a variety of software to manage project records and documentation, including Expedition by Primavera, JD Edwards, PowerTrack, Viewpoint, Quality Matters, and Raba Kistner’s own proprietary project management software, Electronic Laboratory Verification Information System (ELVIS).
