RABA KISTNER CONSULTANTS HIRES HARRY A. GIANNARIS AS HOUSTON MATERIALS TESTING PROJECT COORDINATOR (10/23/2014) 

Houston Martin Vila, Senior Vice President of Raba Kistner Consultants, Inc. (Raba Kistner) has announced the hire of Harry A. Giannaris to serve as the Project Coordinator for Raba Kistner’s Houston office. As the Project Coordinator, Mr. Giannaris will be responsible for management of Raba Kistner’s Houston area Construction Materials Engineering and Testing services. He will lead materials testing personnel and investigations, and monitor construction materials testing activities.

Mr. Giannaris has more than 26 years of experience in the Construction Materials Engineering and Testing field, where he has served as a project manager for major building and roadway projects, valued from $1 million to $50 million dollars, including for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the City of Houston. Mr. Giannaris is currently serving as Project Coordinator for the City of Houston’s Clinton Drive Reconstruction project, the Alley Theatre Expansion and Renovation, the Velasco Terminal Backlands expansion at the Port of Freeport, and the Cy-Fair ISD Food Production Center Warehouse Addition, among others.

Mr. Giannaris is a member of the Association of General Contractors of Houston, and holds a Level III certification by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET) in concrete, soils, and asphalt.
