Russell "Rusty" DeBorde, Raba Kistner Director of Business Development - Houston office, was named to the Board of Directors for the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE). A4LE is a professional (501 (c)(3) non-profit association dedicated to serve as an advocate and resource for effective educational facilities. The A4LE was first established in 1921 as the National Council on Schoolhouse Construction (NCSC).
Mr. DeBorde’s business development responsibilities for Raba Kistner include expanding our consulting and other services for K-16 educational facilities and institutions in the Houston region. He has strong ties to his local community where he serves on several boards, including the Vic Koppinger YMCA; the Bay Area Builders Association, where he previously served as president; and the Greater Houston Builders Association.. Mr. DeBorde also served as the President of the Pearland Independent School District Board of Trustees. He held this position from2012 until the end of his term in May, 2017, and was responsible for managing and allocating a multimillion dollar budget for the district.
