RABA KISTNER INFRASTRUCTURE ANNOUNCES THAT THADDEAUS L. HARNOIS, PE, HAS RE-JOINED THE FIRM AS PROJECT MANAGER TO WORK ON THE $4B TAPPAN ZEE PROJECT IN TARRYTOWN NEW YORK (9/10/13) 

New York Clark D. Prothero, PE, Vice President of Raba Kistner Infrastructure, Inc. has announced that Thaddeaus L. Harnois, PE has re-joined the firm to serve as Project Manager for the $4 Billion Tappan Zee Project in their Tarrytown, NY office. Mr. Harnois is responsible for coordinating and negotiating all project management needs - utilizing the firm’s proprietary software, Electronic Laboratory Verification Information System (ELVIS) - including for design and construction support on the project, evaluating, negotiating and submitting program modification requests, assisting ELVIS users with help desk requests, and conducting ELVIS training for project employees.

In his previous position on the 1-15 CORE Project, a $1.7 billion dollar I-15 Core construction project to rebuild I-15 through Utah County, Utah, Mr. Harnois performed the role of Area Quality Assurance Manager and was responsible for the oversight of 10+ employees. He interfaced with the Design Build Entity and the I-15 CORE Team, consisting of Utah Department of Transportation Personnel and their General Engineering Consultant. This project included a complete reconstruct of 26 miles of existing 1-15 interstate; adding two lanes in each direction using concrete pavement (PCCP), rebuilding and reconfiguring 10 interchanges and replacing 55 bridges, built using multiple designs and methods of construction.

Mr. Harnois experience as a manager of construction projects provides valuable insight into the constructability, schedule, and assessment of workmanship. Because of his QA/QC experience in construction, Thaddeaus has exceptional knowledge of materials engineering and its relationship to long term performance issues.
