Raba-Kistner’s McAllen office opened in 1991 and operates in conjunction with our resources in Brownsville, Texas. Our Valley facilities comprise over 15,000 square feet of air-conditioned space including a geotechnical and construction materials testing laboratory.

For over a decade, our services have been part of the region’s development. Raba-Kistner has worked with school districts, water/wastewater, power and communication facilities, transportation initiatives including highways, bridges, international border crossings, airports, rail, and utilities, and Maquiladora investors. Many of our México interior or border assignments are coordinated by our Valley operations. We have one of the largest databases of geotechnical information along the Texas border and within Northern México. Our site feasibility analysis and geotechnical risk identification offers clients the information necessary for streamlining projects and containing costs.

We have established relationships with U.S. and Mexican public officials and private businesses. Our bilingual employees work and live in the area and are familiar with local, bicultural concerns. This understanding, relationship, and first-hand knowledge strengthens the service Raba-Kistner provides to the Rio Grande Valley Region.
