Established in 1978, Raba-Kistner’s El Paso office is one of the largest and oldest engineering consulting firms in West Texas, Southern New Mexico, and México.

From its border location, the office’s multi-cultural resources serve projects in two cities, Ciudad Juárez, México and El Paso, Texas. Projects respond to the needs of both economies for improved education, commerce, transportation, and government. The team includes civil, geotechnical, and construction materials engineers licensed in Texas and New Mexico, architects, geologists, environmental scientists, certified technicians, licensed monitor well drillers, and administrative personnel.

Assets committed to West Texas include truck-mounted drill equipment permanently maintained in El Paso for geotechnical exploration and testing, environmental sampling, and monitor well installation. El Paso’s laboratory is validated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and it is the first and only laboratory in the region to be accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).
