JAMES DEDRICK, PE, JOINS RABA KISTNER CONSULTANTS AS MANAGER OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS ENGINEERING IN AUSTIN - Austin

Raba Kistner Consultants, Inc. (Raba Kistner) has announced that James Dedrick, PE has accepted the position of Manager, Construction Materials Engineering and Testing services for the Austin office. Some of the projects on which Mr. Dedrick is currently managing construction materials testing and engineering services include Pflugerville High School #4, the University of Texas Replacement Office Building (ROB), Hutto South Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion, the Peregrine Hotel, among many others. 

Mr. Dedrick’s main responsibilities include managing materials field and laboratory services, and performing construction materials testing engineering investigations and studies dealing with construction related issues in a timely and accurate manner. He is also tasked with coordinating and participating in field observations, classification and characterization of construction materials’ physical properties, assignment of laboratory and field tests, and interpretation of engineering data.

Mr. Dedrick brings more than 20 years of experience in engineering consulting, including construction management, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials engineering, testing, and inspection. His previous experience includes the residential, commercial, transportation, industrial, aviation, and renewable energy sectors. Mr. Dedrick holds a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
