RABA KISTNER CONSULTANTS ANNOUNCES THE HIRE OF SAMRAWIT "SAM" HAILE, EIT- San Antonio

Eric Neuner, PE, San Antonio Engineering Manager, announced that the firm has hired Ms. Samrawit “Sam” Haile, EIT to provide geotechnical engineering in the San Antonio and surrounding areas. Ms. Haile is serving as a project engineer on various projects, including the Alamodome additions for the City of San Antonio, the Vista Ridge Regional Supply project, projects for area school districts, and multiple commercial and residential projects.

Ms. Haile’s primary responsibilities include performing geotechnical engineering investigations and studies, including observations at new and existing building sites, direction and oversight of field and exploration staff and subcontractors for field services.

Prior to joining Raba Kistner, Ms. Haile served as a graduate engineer in the Dallas area, tasked primarily with designing and detailing profiles for water supply pipelines for the City of Dallas. Prior to this, she worked as an Engineering Tech for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)/Fort Worth District, and as a Junior Design Engineer and Foundation and Tower Erection Supervisor in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Ms. Haile received her Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering from Addis Ababa University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
