We are honored to welcome Doug Wiersig, PE, to the Raba Kistner team as Vice President and Marketplace Leader for North Texas.
Wiersig will serve as Raba Kistner’s strategic growth leader in the North Texas marketplaces and oversee the regional growth of Raba Kistner’s four business lines—engineering consulting, infrastructure, environmental, and project management. Wiersig will continue to build on the foundational efforts of our first DFW Marketplace Leader Gabriel Ornelas who was recently promoted to Chief Operating Officer of our Consultants division.

Wiersig was previously Vice President, Econolite Systems Inc. and Director of Transportation & Public Works for the City of Fort Worth. A licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas, Wiersig earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Nevada at Reno, Master of Science in civil engineering (transportation) from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Doctor of Philosophy in civil engineering (transportation) from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the American Public Works Association.
