RABA KISTNER INFRASTRUCTURE HIRES PETER BORSACK, PE, PMP, TO HEAD SUBSURFACE UTILITY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (8/29/13)
Dallas Raba Kistner Infrastructure (RKI) has hired Peter L. Borsack, PE, PMP to lead their subsurface utility engineering (SUE) and utility coordination for the firm. His experience covers a broad spectrum of leadership on SUE applications and project design, including utility and toll infrastructure coordination specifically with state, county and developer-funded transportation projects. Mr. Borsack works in conjunction with RKI’s team of right-of-way agents and surveyors for turn key services.
Mr. Borsack has just been awarded the Sub-Surface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations for North Tarrant Infrastructure on both the north and south segments of the North Tarrant Expressway (NTE) 3A Project. This includes creating SUE drawings along 6 miles of IH-35W, requiring approximately 280 test holes and 50,000 LF of Utility mapping in the first phase. The second phase includes 2 years of providing SUE services on demand, including up to 400 more test holes.
Mr. Borsack has worked in this field since 1997. He received his Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston in 2005, and his BS in Civil Engineering in 1998. He received a BA from Texas A&M University in 1990. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. He was also in the US Army, achieving the rank of Captain.
