RABA KISTNER INFRASTRUCTURE ANNOUNCES JUSTIN D. JONES, PE, RETURNING TO SERVE AS PROJECT MANAGER FOR THE $798M HORSESHOE TRANSPORTATION PROJECT IN DALLAS (9/10/13) 

Dallas Robert L. Wilson, PE, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Raba Kistner Infrastructure, announced today that Justin D. Jones, PE, will be re-joining the firm to fill the position of Construction Quality Acceptance Manager, Dallas Horseshoe Project. The Horseshoe Project is a $798 million design-build roadway construction project by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), designed to improve traffic flow through downtown Dallas and the Mixmaster (dallashorseshoe.com). Mr. Jones has 18 years’ experience in highway construction inspection and engineering management. In his role with the Horseshoe Project, Mr. Jones will be responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management Program (QMP) and Quality Acceptance (QA) of the project.

As Deputy Construction QA Manager for the $1.7 Billion I-15 CORE Corridor Expansion Project for the Utah Department of Utah (UDOT), completed in the Fall, 2012, Mr. Jones managed over 100 Construction Quality Assurance (QA) personnel to assure all work was inspected and tested for compliance with UDOT specifications and guidelines. He also managed environmental compliance with the contract and applicable regulations. The I-15 CORE project has received national recognition for being completed 6 weeks early and $260 under budget. The I-15 CORE project received the National Design Build Award for Transportation from the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA).

Mr. Jones received his BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University in 1997. He has professional engineering (PE) licenses in Texas, Wyoming, Utah and Colorado.
