NEWEL WHITE, PE, OF RABA KISTNER INFRASTRUCTURE NAMED TO ACEC - UTAH BOARD (9/16/13) 

Utah Mr. Clark D. Prothero, PE, Vice President of Utah and New York operations for Raba Kistner Infrastructure, announced today that Newel White, PE, has been named to the Board of the American Council of Engineering Companies - Utah (ACEC), a national, professional engineering association. There are 5 members of the board. Mr. White will serve a three year term and will oversee the Legislative Committee. The purpose of the State Board of ACEC is to evaluate the state of engineering practice, serve as the voice for the engineering community, undertake legislative initiatives, educate the membership and support the local community.

Mr. White is manager for the Utah office for Geotechnical Engineering and Materials Testing services.

White’s experience includes working on two of Utah’s largest projects ever constructed - City Creek Center and I-15 CORE.

White is an Adjunct Faculty Member at Brigham Young University in the Civil Engineering Department.

He holds both a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida, as well as an MBA from Stanford University. He has been active in ACEC-Utah for more than four years and has served on several committees.
