RABA KISTNER CONSULTANTS ANNOUNCES NEW LEADER FOR FORENSICS SERVICES - ERIC RYPPLE, PE - San Antonio

Raba Kistner Consultants has announced that Eric Rypple, PE has accepted the position of Manager, Forensic Services. Eric is responsible for expanding Raba Kistner's Forensic Services capabilities and staff development in San Antonio and other Texas office locations. He will be focusing on structural failures, foundation movements, non-destructive testing, pavement analyses, and property condition assessments. His services will include complete scope and budget development for all forensics projects for the company, structural peer review, inspection reports, property condition assessments, surveys, forensic design, engineering production and client management. 

Forensics services are part of Raba Kistner’s Engineering department. Forensics services are most often utilized by property developers, public and private sector facility owners, institutional entities, architects, other consulting engineers, contractors, and financial and insurance agencies.

Eric has 20 years of experience in the engineering field with 12 years working specifically as a structural engineer on projects including The Vistana, DFW Airport Terminal D, UT Arlington Chemistry Building and numerous corporate projects for USAA and Valero. Most recently he has served as a Senior Design Manager with Environmental Chemical Corporation (ECC) supporting design-build projects worldwide for U.S. Department of Defense projects. His responsibilities at ECC included managing the proposal process, design development and execution, assisting in corporate strategic planning, and assisting in departmental organizational planning. Recent significant projects at ECC include the Recruit Family Inprocessing and Information Center at Lackland AFB, the Academic Support Building/Student Activity Center at Ft. Sam Houston, and the METC Medical Instructional Facilities 3 and 4 at Ft. Sam Houston.

The two of us have worked together on many significant corporate campus projects, where he served as the structural engineer. We are excited that he is joining us and that he brings his experience to our clients.”

Eric received his BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas in 1995.
