RABA KISTNER INFRASTRUCTURE ANNOUNCES HIRE OF JOHN T. ORTLIEB AS ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONAL (9/9/23) 

Dallas Raba Kistner Infrastructure has announced that John T. Ortlieb has joined the firm as an Environmental Professional IV. His primary responsibility includes the assessment of infrastructure construction projects for compliance with environmental commitments and regulatory requirements. Mr. Ortlieb is currently working on the $800M Horseshoe Project in Dallas and works out of that project office.

As the Deputy Environmental Compliance Manager for the Horseshoe Project, Mr. Ortlieb will coordinate environmental permitting and conduct routine environmental inspections for project compliance with noise, water quality, jurisdictional water, wetland, hazardous materials, and biological and cultural resources requirements.

Mr. Ortlieb received both his Bachelors and Masters in Geography from Western Illinois University, completing his Masters in 2009. His immediate work history includes working with Raba Kistner Infrastructure from 2004 – 2009 as an Environmental Coordinator, the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) from 2009 to the present, as General Manager for the National Ecosystem Restoration Center of Expertise. While working for the Corps of Engineers, Mr. Ortlieb was selected for the intensive one year national Planning Associates Program in 2011. After graduation he was then selected for a six month detail in Washington, DC reporting directly to the Deputy and Chief of Planning at USACE HQ.
