(L-R) Paul Lampe, Raba Kistner Executive Vice President and COO — Engineering and Testing, accepted the 2018 Engineering Excellence Award on behalf of Raba Kistner from the Association of Builders and Contractors, Inc - South Texas Chapter. Wayne Ambrose, Senior Project Manager and Employee/Owner, SpawGlass, presented the award. Raba Kistner was given the award to recognize our Construction Materials Engineering and Testing (CoMET) work performed at Confluence Park in San Antonio. The 3.5 acre park is located three miles south of downtown, and includes many native Texas plants. The main pavilion structure, comprised of 26' tall sculptural concrete panels, helps provide shade to visitors and captures rainwater, which is used as the park's primary source of water.
