RABA KISTNER, INC. ANNOUNCES CORPORATE HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGER, MICHAEL W. MCCARTY - San Antonio
William L. Raba, President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Raba Kistner, Inc., announced today that Michael McCarty has taken the position of Corporate Health and Safety Manager for the firm and its subsidiaries, including 14 locations across the state of Texas, Utah, Mexico and New York. Mr. McCarty will manage the Enterprise-Wide Health and Safety program, which includes planning, developing, and coordinating compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations, laws, codes, and rules in order to preserve health and environmental integrity for corporate, regional, and project site offices.
Mr. McCarty comes to Raba Kistner after serving as a training specialist with Enterprise Products Partnership, responsible for Department of Transportation (DOT) Operator Qualification, OSHA Compliance Training, and Driver Training programs at the firm. During his almost 30-year history with CPS Energy in San Antonio, the nation’s largest municipally owned energy utility, he served as a Field Safety and Training Manager, where he managed the safety and Operator Qualifications programs for all Gas Operations personnel. Mr. McCarty is Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC), OSHA, and Hazwoper certified, and is certified as a trainer in multiple other areas in Health and Safety.
