RABA KISTNER INFRASTRUCTURE ANNOUNCES HIRE OF BRYAN A. WOOD, PE AS SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER II- Austin

Russel Lenz, PE and COO of Raba Kistner Infrastructure, Inc. (RKI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raba Kistner, Inc., has announced the hire of Bryan A. Wood, PE as Senior Project Manager II. With vast experience in executive leadership and oversight of all facets of project management, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance, Mr. Wood will be responsible for all areas of project operations for RKI, including construction inspection and material testing operations, to ensure compliance with project plans, approved shop/working drawings, and specifications. 

Prior to joining RKI, Mr. Wood had a long career with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). In his more than 30 years with the organization, Mr. Wood served as a District Engineer for the Bryan District, Interim District Engineer for the Corpus Christi District, Associate Area Engineer II in the Brownwood District, and began his career in Austin as an engineer in the Bridge Division. Mr. Wood also served as a Division Head of the Constructed Facilities Division of the Texas Transportation Institute in conjunction with Texas A&M University in College Station, where his duties included coordination of all University research in the areas of construction engineering and management, geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, and major highway structures.

“RKI is very excited to have Mr. Wood as a member of our team,” said Lenz. “Mr. Wood had a distinguished career with TxDOT, holding numerous technical, managerial and executive level positions. His experience and expertise in the development and delivery of transportation projects make him an excellent addition to our team.”

Mr. Wood graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor’s of Science in Architectural Engineering, and a Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
